I don't know about hiding anything, but I'm sure I could procure more than just an ear for you.

Note spelled to Minerva McGonagall [03 Apr 2006|01:10pm]
Minerva --

I know, this is a bit late in getting to you. I'm heading up to the Tower now.

The Ministry sure knows how to keep people very suspicious, don't they? Keep a good eye on them.

Note spelled to Minerva at breakfast [28 Mar 2006|07:22am]
Minerva --

I cannot understand why more testing is needed. The Ministry made an attempt to be very involved with Sybill in her younger years. I do not think I need to tell you of the consequences of that.

It's best that she not know a word of this lest she decide to come down from her tower and make a fool of herself.

You'll be there, I suspect?

messy note to Minerva McGonagall [18 Mar 2006|11:11pm]
Minerva --

Pah! Way to make an old woman in a girl's body feel irresponsible!

Before I come up I'm going to do a full sweep of this castle myself so that I can enjoy a drink in peace! If I am lucky I may be able to confiscate something interesting! That's responsible, isn't it? Hah!

Think maybe I had too much already

I'm not supposed to be drinking you know

Oh, sod it

The holiday is almost over!

Note charmed to a large four-leaf clover to Minerva McGonagall [17 Mar 2006|08:52pm]
Minerva --

I have heard I have a knack for giving people what they need.

You know, there's a little shin-dig over at The Three Broomsticks tonight, being Saint Patrick's Day and all. You ought to floo over if you have a spare hour or two.

Minerva --

If the children ever stop behaving insane, feel free to drop by sometime. Do remember, too, if you cannot deal with their agressive behaviour yourself, I have a special flogging broom. Even Filch would be impressed.

Note to Draco Malfoy [26 Feb 2006|07:23pm]
Mr Malfoy --

No, it is not. Quit pouting and get your team back into the shape they were in when the season started. Perhaps scheduling practises everyday twice per day was not the best idea.

Note slipped to Minerva at breakfast [16 Feb 2006|08:51am]
M --

Thank you, old bird. I could hardly stay awake. At least it was comforted rest - no one to worry about. You do not know how much I panicked over not being successful.

I assume Poppy will be taking care of Remus? I need to see her later about my shoulders after classes.

I am finding nothing - nothing suspicious, no traces of any kind. I will broaden my search and continue looking. Inform the others that I will be on time.

I blame you almost entirely for my recent schedule. You could have said no.

I don't suppose you have anything that will help me have a restful sleep? Of the non-liquor variety

Note delivered to Sarah Fawcett via screeching owl [03 Feb 2006|08:34pm]
Miss Fawcett! --

If I ever see another stupid bloody owl from you ever again, it will be much too soon!

Your team will be allowed to use the pitch for late night practises, but only because I am sacrificing my own sleep to chaperone. I urge you to make valuable use of my time over this next week, Miss Fawcett, or you will have much more than a fleet of owls to deal with.

If you send another owl this evening, even the smallest one in the tower, there will be no midnight practises for your team.

It sounds like it will be a lovely affair, of course I will attend with you.

I've been meaning to have a conversation with you about the upcoming Ravenclaw/Slytherin match. Tonight, maybe?

Note spelled to Minerva's bedside table [16 Jan 2006|11:07pm]
Minerva --

You know what I think about putting all the blame on yourself. Parents are scared for their children, even moreso after learning about Albus. It's not insult to your capabilities, either -- Albus was more than any of us can really hope to be.

Your concentration must stay with those that are here instead of worrying about those who are leaving. I expect more children to be leaving over the next week. By next weekend, who knows how low our numbers will be.

Rest and focus only on those things that you can control.

Minerva --

Lucky for me that I am able to sleep the day away after such a night as we had. You've been up since before the sun considered gracing us with its dazzling presence, I assume.

I hope you haven't had any lunch yet, because we have things to discuss. Please do not even think about offering me a brandy or rum or vodka or any liquor for that matter ever again. You still have something to get rid of the headaches, don't you?

I'll be around in awhile.

Minerva --

Bitterly cold and depressing as the day was, I did not enjoy myself. Too many things to do. Isn't it wonderful that there is someone like Percy Weasley around keeping us on our toes? I don't know what you we would do without him the unfeeling little ponce.

I'm going to do my best to get Bill to join us all at the Three Broomsticks. I'm assuming you'll come, of course, if only because I intend to drag you there as well if I must. I expect there to be great fun in honouring dear Albus with a variety of stories about him. I know I have many of my own to share.

I'll see about that chat on Sunday afternoon.

Note to Charlie Weasley [19 Dec 2005|11:02am]
Charlie --

Haha and hoho! Your team will not be beating mine. In fact, you can choose your entire team and I will take anyone left over, Slughorn included! You're too right about Minerva being peeved. She would likely call too many fouls on my team if I forced her to sit next to him, despite it not being her job. She has that type of humour. I will manage, I assure you.

I was certain giving Percy the job to play lord and ruler over us would incite him to want to join. See, I will have deal with Minerva's sabatoge and you will have to deal with your brother's. Never forget the cleverness of a Ravenclaw, Charilie.

In regards to the incident surrounding my currently gorgeous and youthful form - it was half accident, half intended. Let's just say someone should have brushed up on our potion-making skills before trying to spike the holiday punch with vengeance. Fortunately or unfortunately, the majority of the staff was a few decades younger. Bill and I were the only two who did not partake in the cure, for the reasons that we were too embarrassed inebrieated at the time and we didn't want to be anywhere near Minerva or Snape. Snape said there would be side-effects, but I haven't experienced anything negative as of yet, unless vibrancy and energy is considered negative for a twenty-one year old.

I have assumed the same about Bill. I have tried to speak with him on private visits, but he stubbornly insists on being left alone. I've decided it is best to let him figure out he is not at the end of his world by himself. Remus used to and sometimes still does the same thing. Nevertheless, he shouldn't be forcing himself to spend holidays alone. If only there were people who wouldn't mind inciting his anger and pulling him out of whatever hole he's drug himself into.
